End of Season Recap

How are you all feeling? It’s been only a day and I’m already dreading paddling withdrawal I’m going to experience in the off-season! I know for some of you there’s still Stratford, but for the rest of us the paddling season is done.

GWN Recap

Great regatta. We came together as a team and went into battle united. You guys all know by now that the last race was really close. 1st and 6th was separated by just about a second! All I expected of you guys was effort and intensity and I felt it. Regardless of winning a medal, you guys won my vote for best team of the regatta. Aggression was there when needed, and at the same time you were all able to relax and have fun in between races. That’s a well-balanced team in my books.

Even though we didn’t come out with a medal, we must remind ourselves that this season we’ve improved by leaps and bounds. This is just another page in Whiplash DB’s history. There are still many more pages to be written.

I hope everyone can take away from this regatta something positive. Like all regattas, we learned more about ourselves as individuals and teams. Let’s keep looking forward to evolve as a team both physically and emotionally.

Season Recap

Thus ends a fantastic summer. 4 Winter Practices, 34 Water/Land Practices, 2 Fundraisers, 1 Social and we still have more in store! Party! Party!

That’s all folks!! See you soon!
